Hello!

The idea is very simple: the purpose of  this project is to comment Linux console commands, configuration files and to collect examples and useful information for Linux administration and usage. The idea is about 5 years old and I have done html man page generator in 2006 year. There was not enough time for this project and finally I found that to use SMF forum is much better than to use phpwebnotes. I hope this project will be helpfull for you.

You are welcome to register and contribute your knowledge and time.
Right now there are 8251 man pages at the website and more pages will be added later with additional search functionality.
To locate any man page in html format: 
http://<domain>/man.<section>.<command>
For example, "man 5 crontab" -->  http://bashconsole.org/man.5.crontab

You may introduce yourself by creating your topic in "README" category and attaching any files if you like.
